We have instead made some very nice deals with local yoga schools and shalas ,where you will be able to take some drop-in classes.

We have mats and other yoga equipment, free to use at Woodah or bring to the park or yoga class.

Woodah will offer outdoor classes in our grassy backyard, when the weather allows it. The classes are still donation-based and you sign up the day before in our reception.

Yoga is more than just stretches that you do on a squishy mat, there is heart and soul behind it. It all begins with the breath. As in all ancient self healing techniques long, slow, deep breathing is key to growth cleansing and longevity.
Anyone can practice yoga.

The yoga postures or asanas exercise every part of the body, stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. The asanas not only work on the body’s frame but on the internal organs, glands and nerves as well, keeping all systems in radiant health. Different asanas affect different areas of the body and mind.

As various parts of the body open up and come under your control, there is often a corresponding “opening up” of the personality, as well as a heightened awareness and happiness.
